What goes best with Italian Bread ?You guessed it, Italian Dipping Oil.
However, I just read an article about an ” Italian Rule”- DO NOT DIP BREAD IN OIL. It said is a huge NO-NO in their culture. As I do respect their culture( I am half Italian if that helps…lol) Well, guess what? I am here to break that rule.This Recipe is so tasty and also the oregano oil in it is so good for you.
The name Oregano means ” mountain joy ” and is a symbol of happiness. It contains Vitamins A,C, K, magnesium, the list goes on.
Oregano has an active ingredient called rosmarinic, which is a strong antioxidant which may help support the immune system.
Not only can you use it in cooking , but also useful in soaps and as a disinfectant.There are so many health benefits from oregano oil.
Now onto the good stuff…Italian Dipping Oil
1/2 Cup extra virgin olive oil
1-3 Tbs. Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp. minced garlic
a sprinkle of red pepper flakes
pinch of salt
now the most important thing:
1-2 drops YLEO Oregano Oil
1 drop YLEO Rosemary Oil
Stir well and put it into a Ball Mason Jar.
Let set for an hour or so.
A good loaf of Italian Bread and you are good.
